Happy Friday! Todays selection is Kill Me If You Can by James Patterson. This book brings my yearly total to 50. Two more books and I will have reached my goal for the year :D I hope that have that done by next week.
In this book you will meet a cast of characters ranging from artists, Marines, Russian diamond smugglers, and contract killers. I was not expecting the twist of who "The Ghost" really was. One thing I really could have lived without was the incest! It was disgusting and really added no value in my opinon to the context of the story. If they would have just left out the father daughter sex stuff and focused on an actual parent child relationship, it still would have been relevant to that actions/reactions throughout the book.
Other than that, I found it a quick moving read (as usual) and a classic James Patterson. With summer winding down, I usually switch to current events and other non fiction selections. This year really has been the year of James Patterson for me! I cant wait for the next Alex Cross book, a new Women's Murder Club selection and of course a Stephanie Plum Janet Evanovich book (next month I think).
I hope to surpass my goal by quite a few for this year. Im beginning to consider how many books I will be able to fit in a bigger goal next year. Its going to be hard with overloading my winter/spring schedule with school but I do enjoy getting lost in a good read!
