For the last couple of months I really believed I had been caught up on the Alex Cross series... I was mistaken! Lucky for me - the Library had Cross Fire (Alex Cross Series) available for immediate download. SCORE! So I dove right in!
This installment finds Dr. Cross planning his wedding to the lovely Bree Stone. Crazy Christine makes a random appearance which really didnt fit into this story line. I thought it was just thrown in with no real direction. The jealousy Christine had for Bree (briefly mentioned) could have been further explored so I was slightly let down there. Kyle Craig rears his ugly, albiet newly reconstructed to look like an FBI agent, head. He plays Alex, who never suspects a thing, and continues with his typical Kyle nonsense.
I wont ruin the end of the book for you - but I believe Kyle will return... Nemesis's always do!
Not enough Nanna in this book for me (I do love me some Nanna Momma Regina!) Sampson was really in the back seat as well - but I do enjoy the story between Bree and Alex. Its about time there is some good news on the romance front for Alex Cross.
