204 Rosewood Lane (Cedar Cove Book 2) by Debbie Maccomber

I love good romance and chick lit in the summer!  This second book in the Cedar Cove series by Debbie Maccomber was just as good as the first.  There was little deviation to the style of writing from the first book (Lighthouse Road).  The main characters from the first book were all still present with the exception of the young divorcing couple who didnt divorce.  They were replaces by a couple with a wife who falsely decides her husband is cheating, while he decides she enjoys the childrens school committee's, her book clubs, church bizzares etc, more than spending time with her family.  Their marriage really starts to fall apart when he realizes the kids are eating crap for breakfast, lunch and dinner and he does not understand why, if she made a committment to be a stay at home mother and tend to the children and the house, she was spending more time outside the home on other non house hold related items.

The book is still following Olivia and Grace along with their families turmoil.  Charolette faces a major health crisis which really shakes up Olivia and her family including bringing her ex-husband around more.  The current beau Jack is definitely not feeling that.

All in all it seems like a cute little chicky series that Ill enjoy for the rest of the summer.  Im not sure why I tend to read more fiction and chick lit in the summer and keep the heavier books like autobiographies, biographies, current events and 1000+ pages books for the winter, but perhaps I should switch is up a little :)
