Ah the Millennium Trilogy. What can I say... I thought this first book sucked. I do think it was on okay way to introduce the two characters of Lisbeth and Mikael but I think the story line itself could have been much more interesting. So she is a computer hacker who researches people, he is a publisher that ends up bringing down his nemesis who sends him to jail. There is the story of a missing girl from a well to do family SNOOZE!
I know I am one of the few people who feels this way, but alas I do. I wanted more... More drama, more nail biting, more info in general and I never ended up getting it. Unfortunately for me, I have this OCD type obsession with books. If I start a series, I must finish it even if I end up getting bored. I am kind of experiencing something similar with the Alex Cross series by James Patterson. I enjoy most of those story lines, but I cant seem to fall in love with it the way I did with The Women's Murder Club.
I am going to continue reading the Millennium series of books ~ The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest, and The Girl Who Played With Fire, and I will hope the series gets interesting because the ground work for the characters has been laid but I am not holding out hope.
Dear Lord, Please let them become more interesting!
