I rejected and rejected reading the Twilight Series. For quite a while I said I was not into vampires, I would never read vampires (I had previously tried with Anne Rice) and just didn't like it. Finally my BFF Angela broke me down, roped me in and forced my hand. I was going to read the series just to prove I didn't like vampires, and this series would not change my mind.
So in December 2009 I started reading the books and once I picked up Twilight - I could not put it down. The vampire stuff was secondary to this love story. This amazing love story between Bella and Edward. I was so hooked into the love story - the minute I finished Twilight, around 1am the following morning, I RUSHED to Walmart and purchased the rest of the books. I read New Moon and Eclipse both in a day and Breaking Dawn in two days. It was crazy. My husband is still calling me a Twitard but I don't care. Im not ashamed to admit I am in love with these books and think I am going to read them again this year.
If you are like me, and swear you would not ever like some teenage vamp books - your oh so very wrong. Read them... READ THEM NOW!

I do so hope and pray Stephanie Meyer finishes Midnight Sun. In my heart Im hoping Ms. Meyer decides to take all the books from the Twilight series and write them from Edwards perspective. I mean they could even go into Jacob's view as well. Why should Twilight have to end??? WHY??? Don't make it end!!! OK my 14 year old self is repressing. I can move on now. Seriously - READ THEM
